Crains, Manchester's Business Paper, has a Focus on Hospitality and Travel this week (w/c June 7) and runs with the above headline.
The first quarter of 2010 has seen revPar (revenues per room) rates continue their steady recovery since the drop in 2009 (Q2 was 18.5% down on 2008's figures).
Overall revenue is up, accompanied by a 4.7% increas in occupancy levels, now at 68%. Deloitte, who published the figures say a large number of business visitors have helped the recovery.
